Painted in White

Wasn't vanilla the official favorite flavor before hundreds of new ones came thundering in?
The color white: It reminds you of a time gone by, of not an in-your-face beauty but a subtle one, a more gentler one...soft, angelic, pure, and somehow so exotic and eternal. And when it mixes with the colors of nature, breathtaking is what you get...

"White...is not a mere absence of colour; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black...God paints in many colours; but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said so gaudily, as when He paints in white."
- G. K. Chesterton

Okay, so I'm back! Exams finally over, yay! :) I've gone a bit rusty and I'll spew out some larger posts soon (I hope), but this is just to let everyone know, I'm officially back in :)

The beautiful pic above, of the flowers (whose identity I could not find except that it grew on onion plants in someone's backyard :D) has been taken by Leo (http://facebook.com/imchandu/photos, http://clicksclub.weebly.com) who let me caption it and allowed me to use it :) Thanks a lot! Looking forward to doing business with you in future too...just keep clicking lovely pics :)

Okay guys, see you soon! Getting back to watching Castle...it's got me officially hooked! :D

  2. Missed your posts. Good to see you are back. I too love white colour though I am not in the habit of waring it too often as the dust here is too much and before I reach the destination, the white becomes brown. But it is a kpure and fantastic colour. Loved your post. Looking forward to your next one.
